A bio-based fabric made from sustainable Beech Tree fibres, Modal uses 10-20 time less water to produce than cotton. Adding weight to it's eco-conscious qualities, Modal is also bio-degradable.

Soft to the touch, Modal's long fibres and tight weave make it incredibly durable. Its natural origins and weave also make it moisture absorbent and breathable.

I purchased the Marant Trench coat in Black and I’m so glad I did, it’s my go to coat in cooler weathers. Now the thing I love about this coat. Firsly, the fabric that feels like butter so soft to touch and keeps you really warm. The patch pockets give a really stylish look at the front and most of all I love the seam at the back on the waistline which giving you a really nice shape especially when you tie belt at the back. All together this coat is a winner. I purchased a 12 and there’s plenty of room with a beautiful shape.

Lovely soft coat

Unlined so not much good for freezing weather, but I live in Sydney so it will be perfect! I was between sizes so sized down for a more flattering fit on the shoulders and chest - doesn’t cross over enough to close completely without pulling it right in, but I like my coats open 99% of the time. Still fits a slim cardigan underneath.
