Tencel™

Wear & care

Tencel™ is a brand of Lyocell produced by specialist textile manufacturer, Lenzig.

Like Lyocell, Tencel™ is extracted from sustainably grown wood using a closed loop system that recovers and reuses the solvents used, to minimize impact on the environment.

A more sustainable alternative to cotton or silk, Tencel™ has a silky handfeel and luxurious appearance. Its natural origins make it breathable, moisture absorbent and soft against the skin.

Composition: 100% Certified Lenzig Tencel

How to Care

Wash before wearing.

Because of its refined quality and natural fibres, Tencel™ is delicate and requires gentle care. Wash your garment at a cool temperature on a gentle cycle. Avoid using a fabric softener or mixing bright colours and whites in the wash. Gently reshape your garment while still damp and drip dry your garment flat in a shaded area. To protect your garment, cool dry iron on reverse protecting it with a cloth.

Fabric will soften with washing.

When caring for your garment follow the instructions on the care label. Do not dry clean.

What to look out for

When wearing your garment, be aware of coarse, sharp and abrasive surfaces, for example, jewellery, hard textured seats, walls. They can cause fabric abrasions such as pilling or snagging.

How to store

We recommend storing your Tencel™ garment on a hanger to reduce creasing.
