How to care

Because of its natural fibre composition, Bamboo Jersey is more delicate and might require a little bit of extra care. Wash your bamboo garment on a gentle, cold machine cycle and avoid mixing bright colours and whites in the wash. Avoid using a fabric softener. To preserve fabric qualities, dry your garment flat. Optionally, hang it to dry in a shade and avoid using pegs.

Steamer or a cool iron are the best way to restore the shape of the garment and to smooth any wrinkles. If you decide to iron your garment, do it on the reverse and gradually increase heat if needed.

To wash your jersey garment, use a ‘delicate’ wash machine setting on a cool temperature. Turn your garment inside out and avoid mixing bright colours and whites. Avoid using a fabric softener, as it can encourage fibres to pill. If pilling occurs, remove gently by hand or with a de-pilling comb. To preserve the colour and qualities of the fabric, dry it inside out in a shaded area.

Scuba Crepe Jersey

Scuba Crepe Jersey is known for its modern, sculpted look and stretch, which is designed to work with every movement of your body without clinging or losing its shape.

Traditional crepe fibre are twisted with a distinct texture on the outside of the fabric, while the back of the fabric remains smooth. You will see this fabric in our jackets and a few of our dresses. Leina and Fleur’s Scuba Crepe styles remain unlined and are therefore light-weight and machine washable. They retain their shape after washing and wearing and are crease-resistant, so no ironing is required.
