SLIP INTO OUR SCUBA CREPE DRESSES AND SEPARATES

We’re thrilled to be sharing our love of our scuba crepe material, a fabulous fabric that we’re using in our most sophisticated professional styles. The result is gorgeous style that looks chic and means business.

  • 4-way stretch for comfort
  • Lightweight
  • Easy care
  • Flattering drape
  • Iron-free
  • Moisture-wicking
  • 95% polyester 5% spandex

These are just some of the more obvious perks of this beautiful material. The face (right side) of the fabric has a textured or crimped finish very similar to a traditional wool crepe, which was one of the first fabrics used in traditional tailoring because of how beautifully it drapes but also moulds to the body.

WHAT IS THE ‘SCUBA’ PART OF SCUBA CREPE DRESSES AND SEPARATES?

‘Scuba’ relates to the smooth backside of the fabric, which gives the feeling of an already lined garment. Thanks to the material’s 4-way stretch, we can create beautifully tailored garments that wear with the ease and comfort of a classic jersey dress.

WHY DOES SCUBA CREPE FEEL SO GREAT?

Our scuba crepe dresses and separates are made from a moisture-wicking fabric. This means that the material quickly moves (wicks) sweat to the fabric’s outer surface and then dries rapidly so that your sweat doesn’t saturate the fabric. As a result, your body can regulate its temperature efficiently and the fabric touching your skin has a dry, non-sticky feel.

WHAT MAKES SCUBA CREPE FABRIC SO EASY TO CARE FOR?

Traditionally, tailored garments are more time-consuming to maintain, but this evolution of fabrics means that you can now easily wash and care for your clothing while maintaining a sleek professional finish. Just wash and wear — no ironing required.

HOW DO YOU CARE FOR YOUR SCUBA CREPE DRESS OR SEPARATE?

  • Cold machine wash separately.
  • Dry without delay inside out to preserve the face of the garment from the sun.
  • Cool iron on reverse
  • Do not dry clean
